Choosing the right region is crucial for a high return

The south-east of the island, the Santanyi region, is becoming increasingly unaffordable. The short drive to the airport and the new motorway link via Felanitz and Cas Concos make the region highly attractive to investors and property buyers from across Europe, given its currently low property prices.

Felanitx is a municipality in the east of the Spanish Balearic island of Mallorca. The town of the same name is situated in a stunning setting to the west, at the foot of Mount Sant Salvador. Other villages, such as Cas Concos, are scattered across the municipality’s territory, which covers almost 170 km². The harbour town of Portocolom is particularly worth mentioning. The stunning natural beaches in the south-east of the island are easily accessible, as are the bays in the east.

Historically, the village has been one of the island’s wealthiest communities and therefore boasts some beautiful buildings, the restoration of which often reveals real treasures. These include, for example, natural stone walls, round arches and wonderfully cool courtyards with lemon or orange trees, which often have space for a swimming pool.
