Exciting “Deutzer Hafen” project takes shape – immerse yourself in the future of a new city district!

Since 2009, extensive research and planning has been carried out to revitalise and breathe new life into the historic harbour area in Cologne. The result is a gigantic project in which a completely new city quarter covering an area of 37.7 hectares is being created in a unique location.

The quarter at Deutzer Hafen will not only impress with its idyllic waterfront location, but also offer a breathtaking view of Cologne Cathedral. Around 3,000 flats are planned, which will provide space for about 6,900 residents. But that is not all. The project includes a comprehensive infrastructure, including kindergartens, schools, gastronomy as well as cultural and leisure facilities. In addition, 6,000 jobs are expected to be created on a total area of 560,000 square metres.

Although it will be a while before the first residents can move in, planning is in full swing. The aim is to create a lively and attractive urban district that blends harmoniously into its surroundings and is closely interlinked with the neighbouring Veedeln. With well-proportioned urban spaces of high aesthetic quality and appealing open spaces, a diverse neighbourhood is being created.

Exciting opportunities are opening up as part of this unique development. The “Deutzer Hafen” project welcomes all who are interested in an inspiring living environment. If you have any questions or are interested in further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
