Felanitx is a quiet place on the south-east coast of Mallorca, not far from the towns of Santanyi, Campos and Manacor.
The village of the same name lies in a dreamlike scenery west at the foot of the mountain "Sant Salvador". The port of Portocolom, which is part of the municipality, is worthy of special mention. The bay of Portcolom with bathing possibilities is only about 15 km away and can be reached in about 15 minutes.
The whole eastern part of the island is especially known for its beautiful beaches and bathing bays with well-kept sandy beaches. These are awarded the European Blue Flag for good bathing water.
The beautiful natural beaches with crystal clear water in the south-east of the island are also easily accessible.

The distance from the airport to Felanitx is about 65 km and due to the motorway, which has been in existence since 2019, and the very well developed roads, it takes only 40 to 45 minutes to get to Campos.

The municipality is historically one of the wealthiest on the island and therefore also has beautiful buildings, whose restoration often reveals true treasures, including natural stone walls, round arches or fantastically cool courtyards, which often have room for a pool.
